Nursing professionals around the world are eyeing the door of opportunities to America's health care system, for the past years the demand for Nurses in America have increased tremendously. In fact the U.S. Labor Department announced that Nursing will expand as the second rising new job market in America all the way through 2020. Unfortunately there is a bleak thought due to the lack of qualified nursing professional to fill in the gap.
There are many nursing program available ranging from small colleges to famous universities. You may even pursue your nursing degree online.
The labor department suggests that it is favorable if you readily take the BSN lane to ensure a sensible career. It has been a fact that nurses with a BSN has greater chance for career advancement, sighting that highly compensated administrative work in the field of nursing will most likely necessitate a Bachelor's Degree.
BSN degree is also mandatory if you plan to pursue a graduate nursing program, it is also obligatory if you intend to advance your career to any of these nursing specialties such as clinical nurse, nurse midwife, nurse anesthetist or a practitioner.
However, many facilities still require the BSN degree to move up into management positions within the facility. They are not required to work on the floor though.
3. How much is your budget? -How much are you willing to pay for a nursing degree program? ADN will be a better option for those who want to spend less but you will need to consider the job opportunities ahead. Those with BSN are more likely to be employed compared to ADN. Therefore, if you are interested in BSN, seek for financial aids from the government or apply for the college or university's scholarship.
